At the end of this course candidates will be able to:

  • Understand the legal aspects of manual handling
  • Identify the injuries related to manual handling
  • Conduct a risk of injury assessment
  • Understand the principles of biomechanics and ergonomics
  • Understands the principles of manual handling in a care setting
